”New communication technologies” that we know as peaceful, democrat, pluralist, will supposingly make the world a big village where everyone should be brothers, sisters with each other, they are no longer new nor peaceful. They have already passed the competitive capitalist phase. They became oligopolistic. They eat rent. Instead of creating new jobs, they obstruct employment and economic development. They have penetrated the state, intertwined with the repressive apparatus of state, they became panopticon – Edward Snowden is in exile since he revealed this condition.

Yamal LNG Project

It is a mistake to read the antagonism of global capitalism over the conflicts between superpowers and big states:

On December 8, 2017, the first of the world’s largest tanker ships with its own ice breaking capability, set off with LNG (liquefied natural gas) from the Port of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula. The Port of Delivery was England! 50 km east of London, Grain LNG Terminal.

15 of this size of ships are built in South Korea’s Daewoo shipyards. Another 15 were ordered to various shipyards. The total cost of 30 ships is close to $ 10 billion.

The ship arrived London on 28 December 2017 on Saturday. Petronas, a Malaysia State company, received the freight. Petronas acts as a front company to allow the United Kingdom to violate the US sanctions against Russian Novatek.

Russian Novatek is on the sanctions list imposed by the US on the pretext of Ukrainian issue. Novatek has the largest shareholding in the Yamal LNG project with 51%. Other partners are 20% Total, 20% National Bank of China and 9% Silk Road Fund.

Petronas company of Malaysia does not take place among the four partners of Yamal LNG Project. So thanks to its client image it can ship the LNG in Sabetta and take delivery in London.

Before Yamal, Total and Petronas were into play in Pars Project!

Signatures for the Yamal LNG Project were laid in 2011, and the construction of the Port of Sabetta began in 2012.

However, this was not the first time that the Malaysian Petronas company was involved in Russian + French joint energy projects. Previously, French Total and Russian Gazprom met with Iran’s NIOC (National Iranian Oil Company) in 1997 for “South Pars Project”. In this project, Petronas from Malaysia was involved in transferring the sale of gas from the Gulf to the whole of South Asia. The target of the South Pars Project was to operate the Iran-Qatar joint gas reserve in Persian Gulf. Total was then faced plenty of made up investigations and lawsuits and consequently was forced to leave the project in 2008. It had then shifted to the Yamal LNG Project with Russian entrepreneur Leonid Mikhelson, convincing Putin.

Yamal ignites Ukraine – despite Exxon!

Meanwhile (at the end of 2013) Exxon was also in agreement with Putin to operate the Arctic Sea gas and oil resources located into the Russian economic zone. The trouble in Ukraine began right at that time. A replicas of Orange “Revolution” was set up in Maidan with the blue EU flags (with the dream for being European) and the Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera had been presented as an authentic Ukrainian folk revolutionary by the Western press. Viktor Yanukovych who was trying to pursue a balanced policy between the West and Russia fleed Crimea by helicopter. As a move against, Russia mobilized the pro-Russian local population in Lugansk and Donetz then took control of Crimea. Obama, who could not get rid of the Neo-con-John-Kerry orbit, decided to impose a series of sanctions against Russia in the first months of 2014.

Eventually Exxon ‘s agreements shelved before the signatures dry.

In this process, Exxon tried to start business, but was immediately penalized and stopped.

Yamal – London LNG deliveries

Total, however, did not stop and continued its activities in Yamal LNG Project. Total’s CEO, was killed in a suspected plane crash at this stage in October 2014 in Moscow Vnukovo airport.

Still, today, Russia sells LNG to England from Yamal Sabetta Port.

The next export from Yamal took place on 22 December 2017 and the gas was transferred from one ship to another and then to a Chinese ship, on the 30th of December around the shore off Rotterdam. The ship which transfered the gas to the Chinese ship belongs to Dynagas LNG Partners LP. This company belongs to Greek shipowner George Prokopiou, who was among the first 100 richest people in the world, according to Forbes. Dynagas is the world’s leading company in energy transportation. It has a fleet of 100 ships.

This Greek company’s stocks – putting another big hole in sanctions – are trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)!

As we see, the sanctions with Russia have already been full of holes.

Still, Exxon’s ex-CEO, Rex Tillerson (T-Rex), who has been connecting Russia’s interests with Exxon through the Arctic Sea resources couldn’t manage to lift the sanctions.

In other words, a conflict axis has been formed within the United States that cuts both the Republican and the Democratic parties. The same contradiction exists in France and other big states too. It is necessary to understand Macron’s attitude exasperating French people in terms of this pure contradiction.

The new Saudi feudal Selman becomes the first governor of Saudi Arabia to visit Russia. On October 5, 2017, he talks to Putin.

On Saturday, November 4, 2017, it was announced that Trump has agreed with Selman for public offering of Aramco on US stock exchanges. On the evening of the same Saturday, the Saudi princes, the biggest shareholders of the technology companies such as Twitter and Amazon, were arrested. Just a day before this operation (November 3, 2017), Friday’s news reported that Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, sold $ 1.1 billion of Amazon shares.

All these stuff remind us an activity towards the realisation of the dream of Total’s CEO, Christophe de Margerie, who died in 2014: the new great OPEC that includes the US and Russia!

For the Middle East fiefdoms and Iran, the condition for being included in this new OPEC is the liberalization of the region, opening up and integrating into the world capitalist system, ensuring political stability and security, thus increasing the market potential of the region. If Iran collapses without realizing this transformation, Saudi Arabia will be excluded from this new OPEC too – We read the murder of Khashoggi, as a forefront of such a trend.

Clashing capital blocs

Thus, we see that there is a strong demand from a particular capitalist bloc within the US, as well as the EU and China for violating US sanctions. Trump came to power with the promise of fulfilling this demand, but has not get the full power yet. The capital bloc represented by this demand is positioned against the financial-information capital alliance oligarchy which became rentier and which is represented by the globalist neo-con establishment.

In the last decade, we have seen the oligopolization of information technology sector, thus consolidating its rent revenues. In the chart below, we see the FANG shares positive differentiation from the stock market and its continual rise regardless to the general recession:

The blue curve shows IT shares, the largest percentage in FANG ie Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Uber and so on.

The red curve consists of military-industrial complex.. such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing etc..

The black one is the stock market.

What do we see:

– We see that the Blue and the Red are increasingly differentiating from stock market. This divergence continued until early 2018. In 2018, their continual common differentiation had disrupted and their movement began to resemble the stock market.

– Before 2018, we see a high correlation between the Blue and the Red curves, especially between 2016 and 2018.

The correlation we show here corresponds to what is defined as the “Increasing Organic Composition of Capital” (OCC) in line with Marx – Hilferding – Lenin theorisation of imperialism as “rivalry” doctrine. The rentier oligarchy consolidates its position by getting into infusion to military industrial complex and the state/administrative apparatus ie the “establishment“.

However, the deterioration of this correlation in the wake of 2018, accompanied by the above-mentioned facts (including The Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal, Julian Assange positionning himself on the side of Trump..), shows us that the rentier oligarchy’s demand for “increasing OCC”, faces with the resistance of another capitalist bloc – a controversial fact to Leninist “rivalry” doctrine. The political positions we used to know as peaceful as opposed to what we know as hawkish, shift into their opposites:

The multiculturalist globalism evolves into a confrontational / hawkish position while the “etatist” nationalism begins representing the demands of the resisting capital bloc to the former, of which their interests consign in the alliance and cooperation between centralized states.

So the so called ”new communication technologies” that we know as peaceful, democrat, pluralist, making the world a big village where everyone should be brothers and sisters with each other, are no longer new, nor peaceful. They have already passed the competitive capitalist phase. They become oligopolistic. They eat rent. Instead of creating new jobs, they obstruct employment and economic development. They have penetrated the state, intertwined with the repressive apparatus of state, they became panopticon – Edward Snowden is in exile since he revealed this condition.

Le drame de la Gauche noyėe dans les fantaisies – ou, manipulée?
(The Turpitude of Environmentalist propaganda)

In December 2017, National Geographic reported a polar bear dying of starvation in Somerset Island, in the north of Canada. This news was echoed in all the liberal western press causing pains in conscience. The wildlife photographer Canadian Paul Nicklen, who shot the video of the dying polar bear, could not help the bear even if he wanted, because it was forbidden to feed the polar bears in Canada… why?

Even though it is not explicitly stated, the logic behind the message to be given is as follows: the whole world will see the poor bear suffering from hunger, the conscience will rise, so we will react to stop global warming.

The Canadian government has set a quota of 400 000 in 2017 for hunting seals. However, the number of seals that were slaughtered was lower than 70 000 as the demand for the products from the seal slaughter was reduced. The seal slaughter is the main economic activity of the Northern Canadian natives.

So let’s ask: why the lives of hundreds of thousands of seals slaughtered every year do not matter as the life of the bear in the video of Paul Nicklen? And a reminder: Polar bears eat seal!

Above: a polar bear family who can survive another week by hunting a seal,
Below: a seal who can make a polar bear family to survive another week when eaten by the polar bear.

Now let us have a closer look at this weird logic:

As we do approve the slaughter of hudreds of thousands of seals with a multiculturalist understanding of authentic lifestyle of Canadians, shall we cry for the starving bear who could survive one more week by hunting just a seal? It is as if the Canadian people were still unable in the 21st century to find any other means of subsistence but slaughtering the seals, a manipulative turpitude having fun with masses’ mind and conscience! If the whole world is crying for these starving polar bears, then why does the Canadian government not collect them up by helicopters and leave them to the habitat of seals, to shores like Newfoundland, Labrador, the shores of St Lawrence Bay? Is it feared that bears could cause trouble for the seal killers?

Pourquoi la gauche se tait quant à gilets jaunes?

Most part of the stories claimed to be written as the “history of left” or “history of socialism” do not actually belong to left and socialists. When we look at deeper into the so called “left movements” or “class struggle” we find out that they were rather the reflections of sectoral conflicts or geopolitical clashes between capitalists, within capitalism. Any kind of ‘left’ leadership coming on stage with the claim of leading mass movements too, have almost always consciously or unconsciously been manipulators, agitators, pawns of conflicting capitalist blocs.

American Shale Gas technology has made the United States the world’s biggest energy producer. The market is overwhelmed by supply and the prices are artificially kept high.

There are two basic contradictions in this equation:

1- The Conflict within Capitalism: the rentier Finance Capital + the rentier Information Capital oligarchies demand for low inflation rates and hence tight monetary policies are in contradiction to the real sector (leaded by energy sector) demands for keynesian fiscal policies that prioritize state infrastructure investments.

2 – The Geographical Contradiction: The current appearence of this contradiction is the war of gasoline against diesel. Light Crude Oil, obtained by the US Shale Gas technology, is suitable for gasoline production. The Middle East oil is heavy, poor quality and sulphur loaded, thus, suitable for the production of heavy fuels such as diesel. The Saudi capital raised from conventional energy sources is in alliance with the rentier finance and information capital oligarchies.

Let us now study the distressed position of the left in terms of these two basic contradictions:

It is not a new phenomenon for the left becoming an instrument of the classical “divide-disintegrate and rule” policies of imperialism (2- The Geographical Contradiction). Multiculturalism is the pleasant face of racism. Trotsky and trotskyist Bolsheviks deliberately used distant fantastic discourses such as “Permanent Revolution”, “World Revolution” to cover up their racist Slav-Russian hate. Their hidden racism had then flamed up another kind of explicit racism. The attempts to theorise the phenomenon of fascism by linking it to mass madness or structural dynamics of capitalism do not match concrete facts. The history of treason, however, goes far beyond the history of capitalism:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” – Cicero

The ecological propaganda that the left has adopted today – like multiculturalist politics – is far from convincing the masses. The seas will rise, everywhere will be desert, natural disasters, hurricanes, then hunger will bring the end of humanity… The left embracing this environmentalist discourse is nothing but a tool for the rentier finance + information capital oligarchy (1- The Conflict within Capitalism). People finally ran out of patience, Gilets Jaunes said “Stop bullshit!” to environmentalists.

Signs of a new consensus on the capitalist front

There are theses argueing that the merger of IT with OT (Operational Technologies) will draw the rentier information and finance capital into a new form of “real” economy (a new capital accumulation regime) that is productive. As a forefront of this tide, we see signs of an Electric + Shale Gas (Gasoline) alliance. Oil prices standing around $ 70 is both a satisfactory level for the return of Shale Gas investments and at the same time a costly deterrent to old combustion technology for the continued expansion of electric vehicles. The lower tolerable limit of this fruitful alliance is $ 40.

If oil prices fall below these levels, this should be read as a procursor for the rise of turmoils in the Middle East, namely, the rise of tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Oil prices are the barometer of the Middle East.

Gilets Jaunes movement may have seen this new consensus on the capitalist front as they defend the use of hydrogen electric vehicles instead of electric vehicles with lithium-ion batteries. The fact that they want the government to invest in hydrogen-fuel cell technology is very accurate in terms of taking position against this new alliance. Namely:

It has recently been discovered that through hydrolic fracturing technology lithium was also obtained next to oil and gas. The efficiency of lithium-ion battery powered electric vehicles is around 75% when calculated according to all input energy, including battery charge and the internal resistance of the battery.

However a hydrogen powered electric vehicle’s efficience is about 25% when the cost of hydrogen production, its compression and transfer cost to the point of sale, etc. are taken into account. So its efficiency is no different from the efficiency of conventional internal combustion engines.

So why do Gilets Jaunes want hydrogen?

In rich and technological and relatively small countries like France and Japan, the state can undertake the cost of hydrogen production and procurement through infrastructure and thus this loss of efficiency may not be reflected on the consumer. Nuclear power plants are the only clean energy source to meet this efficiency difference. In the US, however, there is no such a state tradition to undertake an infrastructure investment at this level.
