The Istanbul Institute of Russian and Sovietic Studies (IIRSS) is an affiliate Institute of Kurtay Academics, a supra-national inspectorship institution checking and judging nation states’ policies according to universal philosophical criteria.
IIRSS is managed by a Triumvirate: The director AliPolaT; The mentor Prof The Redskin and The editor Engin Kurtay.
The first topic IIRSS is focused on is the over-romanticising of October Revolution by the Western Trotskyist -so called- left-wing, socialist, communist intellectuals and writers mainly based in the US and Britain. The New York Times was the pioneer of this romanticising, namely by its serial of articles they published to celebrate the centennial of October Revolution in 2017.
It is also noticeable that Putin’s regime overlooks Lenin and October Revolution. Is a new propanganda struggle on re-writing history between American establishment and Russian regime coming out? Or is a new fake ideological struggle between superpowers in footage?
We also study the polemiques and speculations arising about the film of Alexey Uchitel “Mathilda”, a love story of Nicholas the 2nd and a Ballerina when the heir to the throne was 22 and the ballerina Mathilde was 17 years old.
Why did The New York Times begin to applaud Bolshevism first time after the centannial turn of October Revolution? Are their propaganda related to a new agenda to develop a new public sentiment against Putin’s regime?
Another aspect of this ideological warfare rose in the occasion of the two exhibitions in 2017. Right after the former one which was organised in London by The Royal Academy of Arts was named as “The Revolution: Russian Art 1917 – 1932. Then the latter took place in Versaille with the name “Pierre Le Grand: Un Tsar en France 1717”.
While the exhibition in London had adulated the Bolshevik Revolution behind the predicate of exhibiting the paintings of Kandinsky, Malevich, Chagall, Rodchenko, the one in Paris had manifested and celebrated the alliance of French and Russian monarchs in 1717 with the progressive executive of Tsar Great Petro.

The Film Mathilda has been shot by a pro-Putin film director Alexey Uchitel. This film reflects the Russian governmental vision to restore the glorious times of Russian Empire. While The New York Times writers romanticize and appreciate Bolshevism, what we see here is a movie made by a pro-Putin director intending to boost imperial sentiments.
